Delete Your Account

Request deletion of your Socialmesh account and all associated data.

This action is permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before requesting deletion.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App

Open the Socialmesh app on your device
Go to Settings (gear icon)
Scroll down to Account section
Tap Delete Account
Confirm your decision when prompted

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email. Please include the email address associated with your account.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Account information — Your profile, display name, and authentication data
User preferences — App settings and customizations synced to the cloud
Shared content — Widget submissions, shared node links, and profile data
Purchase records — Transaction history (purchases remain valid if you reinstall)

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your device and is not affected by account deletion:

Message history (stored locally on device)
Node information received over the mesh
Device connection settings
Channel configurations

To remove local data, uninstall the app from your device.

Data Retention

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. During this period:

Your account will be immediately deactivated
Your data will be queued for permanent deletion
After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted

We may retain certain data if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records for tax compliance), but this data will not be associated with your identity.
